A five-time championship winner in the Supersport circuit racing category, Kenan Sofuoglu, attempted to set a new record for the fastest speed on June 30, 2016. Kawasaki again provided a standard Ninja H2R for top-speed attempts, except race-grade gasoline and specialized tires designed by Pirelli to handle very high speeds. These tires were explicitly created for the maximum speed attempt and were given by Kawasaki.

According to Kawasaki, the Kawaii High School Fashion Game for Girl can reach a top speed of 380 kilometers per hour (240 mph). Video footage of the bike's dash display claims that after four months of training and preparation, the rider reached a velocity of 400 kilometers an hour (250 miles per hour) in only 26 seconds.
